Privacy Notice
Last updated: July 20, 2026
This notice explains what personal data ModaLink collects when you order your digital card, what we use it for, who we share it with, and how you can exercise your rights under Mexico's Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).
1. Who we are
ModaLink (modalink.mx) is operated by Verónica Pérez Arroyo, located at Virgen 5552, Arboledas, Zapopan, Jalisco, C.P. 45070, Mexico. For any privacy matter, write to [email protected].
This notice covers the data of the fashion businesses that buy the service. The pages we publish contain no forms: they collect no data from their visitors or from your own clients.
2. What we collect
We collect it directly from you, through Stripe and through our intake form hosted on Tally:
- Identity and contact: your name or brand name, email and phone/WhatsApp.
- About your business: specialty, years of experience, background, services, prices, lead times, locations and hours, payment methods and social profiles (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest).
- Files you upload: your logo, the main photo and the 2 to 4 photos of your mini-lookbook.
- Image rights statement: you confirm the photos you submit are yours or that you hold a license to use them.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe. We never store card numbers; we only receive the payment confirmation and your email.
We use no advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not measure visitors to modalink.mx or to the pages we publish.
3. How we use it
Primary purposes: to generate and publish your page, deliver it by email, handle your corrections and support, and meet our tax and legal obligations.
Secondary purpose (optional): to send you notices about improvements to the service. You may opt out at any time by writing to [email protected].
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Publication of your information
The business information and photos you submit are published on your page and on your ModaLink directory listing, which are public by the very nature of the service you buy.
5. Transfers and processors
To run the service we share the minimum necessary information with providers that process it on our behalf, and that may process it in the United States or other countries:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Tally — the form where you send us your business data and the files you upload.
- Cloudflare — infrastructure, security and site delivery.
- GitHub — generation and hosting of the code and the pages.
- SendGrid — the service emails we send you.
- OpenAI — automatic translation of your page's text into the site's other language.
We do not transfer your data to third parties for those third parties' own purposes.
6. Your rights (ARCO)
You have the right to access, rectify, cancel or object to the processing of your personal data, and to revoke your consent. To exercise them, email [email protected] with your name and the URL of your page; we respond within the timeframes set by the LFPDPPP. To correct your page's content you can also use your correction link.
7. Retention
We keep your data while your page is published and for as long as our legal and tax obligations require. If you request cancellation, we take your page down and delete the data not subject to legal retention.
8. Minors
The service is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. The current version always lives at modalink.mx/en/privacy, and we will change the "Last updated" date above.
